Normally when he needs to stay relevant in a 50 min game. On a hero like Zeus he needs kills. Kills = Mana usage. Problem is Farming = Mana usage. So its hard to balance the 2. Kaya and discord are Team/Fighting/Decent Farming items. Armour/Mana/Mana efficiency etc.. If your team has a lot of magic damage Discord is good because of Mana + Armour. The reduction + intel really helps you balance farming and team Fighting. Euls is for Farming/Escape/Save. Its normally for a more backlines zeus.
thing with veil is that it forces zeus to get within a certain range to use it, if u want to just backline then kaya lets u use the dmg amp from a safe distance
I'd go for veil and skip kaya 99% percent of the time.
Veil gives you a bunch of different useful stats which help you tank up.
It has a better buildup cause you wanna start with 2 nulls in lane anyway.
You can amplify the damage of not only yourself but also the rest of your team.
