Her silence sucks early game and so do her stats. Her E takes too much farm to come online and compete with other supports, lvl 6 shadow shaman is godlike compared to drow lvl 6. It's an early game all in meta because late game carries where nerfed due to pubs being too retarded to HG and map control, so stuff like ursa just noms on drow.

in today's meta, drow ranger with 18k networth can be killed by Pudge with just 4k networth.
