Road to reformation will creep cut as axe in some of his streams, usually does pretty well and he is immortal rank 1300 I think
Sometimes I die. Sometimes I don't. But I know I can't execute creepwave cutting properly at all times so I wanna look into the decision making of higher skilled core players who do this.
I see that you play storm a lot, so start from there, i dont have a solution, but let's point a few things
I do believe that you are asking the wrong question, as creep cutting is easy to understand how to, failing to execute them (caught and killed or idle too long) is caused by:
1. Poor map awareness, (enemy control most of maps / you cant process the info provided by the minimap or missing enemies),
2. Poor desicion making, deciding to cut creep/hide too much waiting for cutting creep when :
- most enemies are missing,
- you dont know the tools enemy have to catch you, (sheep stick, atos, area stuns, ward/sentry common placing, invis heroes, auto locate like spectre, or in some cases, just a very smart brain to predict your movement and hiding place)
- TOO LATE, to decide that you have to start cutting creep wave and did not prepare for the defensive items needed (linken, BKB),
3. or lack the ability to super efficiently farm camps safely without dying to complete the items needed to cut creep wave.
same thing with ember or morph, which another hero that you played recently.
my little advice, go into their t2 / near t3 in .22 / .48 since every .30 sec new waves started and you need time to get into there asap...
you seem to be at low legend or high archon, so I believe if you try to focus on a few things i mentioned instead of wanna be godlike immediately knowing every little detail of the thought process of pros, you'll actually progress forward up to low ancient.
I myself only know the theory because I play hardcore support and see everything that happens on the map easier than carries, to actually execute it without flaw is still far beyond my reach. Gotta train i guess
actually this divine guy above me might be legit advice, just use timing zip in and zap away
Search GURUPATHICKS PLAYING FROM BEHIND video . It will explain u all about creep cutting that no one here even blue stars cant make u understand at such a high level . Out
I watched some pro game where batrider pulled between tier 1 and 2 first wawe and then run with enemy creeps towards tier 3 of enemy and catch another wawe from there. So he was lvl 3 and got 2 wawes behind him. He had lvl two @firefly so he didn't pull em to jungle creeps he just burn em all.
I guess your idea was to jungle farm with enemy creeps?
edit. Im bit confused about what is your goal with cutting?
u can see ur own creep position , it will reflect to enemy creep position and from there i think u got some information that u needed .

Hi guys
Does anybody here have any videos on creepwave cutting and the decision processes behind it?
I tried creepwave cutting as a core on some games but I usually fail to execute it properly. (I either die trying or I am just sitting at a spot a million miles away from our base, doing literally nothing when I should be rather 5 manning with the team.)
If you have any text-based tips I can appreciate them too
Thank
EDIT: Searching on youtube yields nothing, rarted
