Its a pretty good game but I have always thought of having an item buy one extra slot in the ULTRA LATE GAME. Like it should be so expensive that it only works in games that go 60+ min. Like "This item is consumed and gives the user an extra item slot. Maximum 3 per Hero. Gold 8,000. Hence that one in 100 game that goes above 60 mins will be even more fun.
Hi, that's a great post idea. Let me suggest some simple general ideas.
1 ) A "disarming" hero, based on the Silencer idea -> I'm talking of harassing disarms, harder than Oracle, CM or Phoenix. I want A) An AoE that slows the attack / B) A buff that returns physical dmg to the attacker (you can put it on a teammate) / C) A passive which reduces by half the dmg of the next physical attack of the target (could be a 9/7/5/3 CD time, like Jinada for example) / D) A global disarm
2) A stacking-spell mechanic -> It will costs lot of mana, so it will be a carry based on Bloodstone. His ult would be : every time an enemy gets hit by one of your spells, he takes bonus dmg from your next spell within 10 secs. Then, he will have 3 low-cd spells : one slow, one nuke, one low dmg + root

I've always fancied a hero that can mind-control and use enemies' skills/items. Maybe the used skill won't trigger cooldown, or maybe this hero can use enemy's non-ultimate ability. I'm not talking about stealing abilities like Rubick, I'm talking about hypnotizing an enemy so that the enemy uses their skills themselves.
How about split squee,spleen and spoon split into 3 different individual heroes.. and make them similar in the term of toxicity 😈

1. We have a disarm hero, it is called Pangolier. It has a good chunk of the abilities you are looking for here. Does not slow the attacks by any ways, but you have an aoe disarm. Huskar has another aoe disarm.
2. We have stacking-spell mechanics in the game. The most prominent example of this is Bristle Back with his Quill Spray. It adds stacks to the target that amplify the damage from subsequent spells. Nasal Goo, also stacks and too amplifies the Quill damage by lowering the targets armor.

We have Morphling who can become an enemy (or friendly) hero and can use all the other skills other than an ult. No hypnotizing effects, you control only a single hero and losing control of your only unit is a big no-no... Sure, we can have 10 seconds consecutive stuns, but it is still not losing control of your hero. There are some lose control effects, like the Axe Call, Winter Wyvern Ult, Legion Commander Duel etc.
These are not new mechanics to Dota... We have heroes that essentially do these things.
Only hero design I can think of that we don't have is Puppet Master from Hon. He ult was kind of like Winter Wyvern ult but he made a giant puppet that was bound to the hero and you would hit the puppet rather than the hero because it takes increased damage. He was like a disable carry.
I have actually made a few high quality concept over the years with lots of iteration. A couple even have a test map on WC3. They are involved concepts about playstyle and unused design space. Message me if you want to chat about them!

I have enjoyed playing dota since it was created as a custom game on Warcraft 3. I love this game so much man.
I had a thought recently that it would be cool to create a character concept, just for fun. Perhaps I could make it into a reality with a custom Dota game. Maybe it can be a hero that embodies some of the cultural elements of Dota. For example, maybe its a hero that enables trash talking or flaming rendering the opposing team unable to mute your team. LOL. That's just one silly idea. It can be anything really.
I'd love to hear what you think! What kind of hero is missing from Dota? What potential concepts or skills might it have?
