I couldn't even reach the towers, let alone attacking them. They were running at us constantly

you've been winning more than you're losing, you'll be fine and if i would to give one advice, try to play mid or safelane, it's easier to carry games and win with it in the low ranks. Good luck!

My advice is to find 4k mmr+ players in the community who can watch your replays and give you advices on improving your gameplay. Better to invest some money buying 2-3 coaching sessions from high mmr players.

Otherwise, go look up BSJ, Xiosoko, Blitz and watch EVERY SINGLE ONE of their videos multiple times and apply those concepts.

Third, limit your hero to a small pool of 2-3 and play heroes who can farm well, fight well and push well (tower damage). Your job is to destory the enemy ancient, which is a building so you need building damage.

Stop relying or blaming your teammates, you have to solo carry every game to get out of the bracket.

thanks for all the advice guys, I’ve been spamming axe for more than 6 months now.

I did try playing safelane and mid, but I found that my mistakes have bigger consequences. Also I find offlane more fun, so I guess I’ll just keep playing axe.

If you want to just have some dumb fun play turbo.These days all pick just doesnt cut it for me,too stressful.If you want to improve and have fun at the same time,well its one or the other.

Winning 54% Axe games is good for the MMR gain... I would just say keep spamming. You will learn the matchups and the do's and dont's of the hero and when to pick it and when to certainly not do so. Though with the offlane role, you are pretty much always rolling the dice as you don't know who you'll be playing against, core wise. You should have a pretty good understanding of the enemy support hero and who'll be supporting you along the way... Axe is a solid chunk of metal and is pretty reliable, but there are some complete nightmare matchups for him too. Basically heroes that you just can't pressure as a melee hero. 54% winrate is gaining you MMR. You will climb if you keep that up... And your win chance will probably improve with further knowledge of the hero you are playing. Basically, you are doing fine. Just keep on going!

Only play 1 hero and still absolutely suck with it... less than 2 kda on ursa and play it only in wrong role what a joker

I'm not very good but I can teach you a couple things if you want, just add me on steam. I used to be 1k mmr years ago , I know what it feels like to be stuck

eh you're top damage on that team and the rest seem like dogshit, both teams probably ain't got a clue about powerspikes on that bracket or when to force fights or secure roshans or map during which times but whatever, numbers are numbers, if your winrate with axe is 54% that means you're winning, simple as it gets, but your winrate overall in ranked is 48%, that means you're trying out a lot of heros you don't win with. My suggestion is stick to heros you got +50% on ranked and try the rest of the heros on turbo and you'll climb, it's simple math honestly

on a sidenote, on this patch I'd go either vanguard or blade mail and stick to reflecting more or reducing more; the days of blademail priority doing damage before your reductions are applied are long gone so there's no point in going both of them depending on what you're against

I'm in the middle of recalibrating but it's just going to drop my mmr even more; I lost to a smurfing meepo player who went 27 kills with no deaths. I don't understand why I'm ending up with bad matches often on ranked with me losing them when I can only do so much before I just get pissed off.

Dota gives a very false sense of some kind of achievement. Its better to just be treated casualy if u can. Unless you can do that just stop playing. 1/3 amout of effort you put into dota can make you a very succesful man irl in whatever you do.

you got 64 % win rate with necro, just spam it offline and you easily will climb MMR.
