you'll be on hidden pool until 300 games, then normal pool in around 500 games.
if you play extremely dominant, you might be placed in constant 6k pool in 150 games.
obviously, if you fucked your behavior score, you're better off making new account, cuz it will only prolong your shadow pool rank unavailable
Same here, I too have "rank unavailable" thingy. Sometime it show "Archon", other times "Herald", "Guardian", or "Crusader"... I played DotA 6 years ago, Ancient rank, started back 2 weeks ago with new account.
One thing that has yet to be mentioned here is that people are generally better at the game, and due to a lack of not too many new people, you will face a lot more competitive and competent people now than compared to before. That goes especially even for lower-mmr brackets. Most people tend to re-calibrate below and sometimes far below what they once were.. Sorry if this came out very demoralising heh, I wish you the best truly mm!
In other words, after 60 matches with ongoing kda of 5.4 and 53% winrate, I'll most likely will get placed in herald or guardian.
you'll prob calibrate ancient 2-3 and then get placed with feeder bots for teammates that go 1-13 and 0-15 but you still manage to make it a 60 minute game but end up losing cuz feed bots and whole game is 1v5 or 2v5

Hello guys, I just want to ask how does the new calibration system works?
I was once a Div player. Then I got tired to Dota. Just watched some games yeah.
Now that I came back, I was jist wondering what is thing rank unavailable thingy?
iirc, you have to dominate every single game and play well to rank higher. Every mechanics should be enough to be considered VHS (This is how I calibrated to Divine 3 back then)
I'm dominating on my games tho yet em stuck with these Rank unavailable thingy.. any advice guys?
and oh btw.. I played on a net cafe. Does valve tracks the last person who played on the PC? And how to avoid this scenario? (Sorry for the bad English and thank you)
