I am only responding since I find the discussion very interesting. I have have two M.Sc. in engineering and know that I got the brains.
As I said in an earlier post: Now that I know how the calibration system works I started a new account. Game number 3 on this account was on high skill. Game number 19 was on VERY HIGH SKILL. I currently have 15 won games and 4 lost games. In 3 out of these 4 lost games my team threw a solid victory. In the forth game they just feeded from the beginning without purpose. The XP-graph from this game is like 99.9 % red so Dire completly owned the game, still my Radiant PA on mid lane had 10-10-10 in the end. And yes, I did build a headress :)
Pudge in the other team, who I laned vs with PA in the mid lane, praised my skills in the end of the game. He did actually swap the lane with zeus later since I owned him so hard. An then I killed Zeus twice, but after that my teammates had just been feeding to much so we lost. Dire had Pudge Zeus Brood Jugger Troll.
In lane - good zoners like Silencer, Viper, Sniper, WD. Basically - high range heroes with good right click dmg.
After laning - counter initiators like Tide, WD, Silencer, Omni, Enigma, Magnus etc. Also eul is a v. strong item vs him. Blink disruptors like Sniper, Zeus are also decent. Lifestealer & Timber rapes him coz of his high STR & Viper destroys his mobility, making him easy to kite.
Hero is a little broken, he requires too much teamplay to counter.
Lol huskar axe counter. You realize that A) more attacks make axe helix more B) huskar attacks faster as he gets lower in hp and baiscally thrives off high attack speed = perfect killing scenario for axe.
Anyway, I'm just talking about offlane axe here and what you need to fight him off, since axes are almost always offlane or jungle. Mid game counter axe is a team effort, like don't be clustered, have good vision so he can't pick off supports etc. Axe can't really even pick off most solo supports after like level 14 or so cus the support doesn't attack him quickly enough to proc many helix's, supports don't do enough dmg to kill themselves on blade mail and axe does shit attack dmg. They can usually run away. He's good at picking off squishy carries like sniper getting caught out cus sniper will kill himself on axe's helixs and blade mail before he has enough hp to live.
But in lane, I love veno and lich vs axe. Normal right click supporting doesn't really work cus one stout shield stops the hurt. But lich can spam his nuke infiintely, and veno's passive is a lot of dmg and the wards with a couple levels can somewhat zone him out.
I also think TA could be pretty good cus of psi blade harras. Hit axe without proc'ing helix. Maybe not though, I've never done it, just thinking bout it.
Here's my opinion as a 3.5k player (take it or leave it):

I've crushed some bad TAs mid as axe, don't know how it would go against a good one. Battle hunger + spins fuck her really hard. Early aggression and she can't do anything
All ranged rightclickers can deal with initiating Axe really good. Like Sniper, you just need to be out of vision when fights starts, so you don't get focused.

But since I have so many games on this account. The matchmaking systems puts the players with least games in my team, which result in my MMR slowly decreasing. So I have abandoned this account and I am trying to make a new main.

No, that is not the case. When I want to be edgy i pick jugger and only buy white and purple items, or techies and go semi-fast mjolnir.
counter helix is reduced by damage block, so crimson is a good item to buy vs him.
Such a situational item on most heroes... And you usually won't activate it in time if he has blink.
